Do Not Worry, We Have NOT Left Yet!

Hey guys, so we haven't been posting lately, and I haven't gotten my makeup tutorial up and running yet. Yes, I know this. So you guys should know I've been super busy and most likely, so has Amparo. (again, remember that we live six hours away!) Anyways, I've just been busy with school, because, well, I'm making great grades this semester and this whole weekend has been busy! I made it into Lee University's (Cleveland, TN) Honor Choir and we practiced all weekend long and our concert was earlier today, I had to play JLo for a Valentine's banquet and be an "American Idol Judge," and then the usual church and weekend things.... Well, the makeup tutorial got deleted off my iPad and I totally got mad at that, but I'll get it up soon. In the mean time, you can check out my January Glam Bag on YouTube.

2012 Makeup!

Yes! Easy, simple, and classic. This spring, it seems that the runways have filled us with simple and classic makeup. So of course the first thing that's up this year is glowing skin.

So as far as makeup goes, we'll start off with the nude lips and barely there liner. That seems to be very popular in Max Azria and Vera Wang's runways.

I really like barely there makeup, and it's a look that takes so little to make! I recommend tinted mousturizer(I use TheBalm's tinted mousturizer! it's paraben free!) for the look, brown pencil liner (I love Clinique's!), and any mascara, really, my favorite at this time is a drugstore mascara actually, it's the original voluminous by L'Oreal. I love it!

Ok, so after all the barely there makeup, we also have the classic bold lips, heavy eyeliner, and thick, heavier eye-brows.

I recently purchased Dolce and Gabbana's Classic cream lipstick in Cinnamon and Ruby (pictured) and I love that lipstick! It's pigmented and creamy and doesn't dry my lips out. (I recommend!)

Let us define beautiful....

So as my first post for the year, I'd just like to tall about true beauty. Let's face it, it's not about being gorgeous in your face, it's not about having the skinniest body, and it's not about wearing the clothes that everyone wears. I am confident in myself. I don't mean this in an arrogant way, but I know I'm beautiful. True beauty isn't about being flawless. It's about accepting your flaws and not stressing about them. I see so many girls out there puking the color out of their cheeks just to be skinny and it kills me inside, because I know what that's like. (and if you need information about bulimia and eating disorders, make sure to contact me and a counselor immediately!) I have one thing to say, I am not skinny and I know it! I am a proud size seven in pants. People can tell me I don't have a model's body, but I'm glad to tell you that I modeled Dereon jeans by Beyonce. [my long(and the only long thing on my body!) legs and blessed bottom helped with that!] But I just want to say that we shouldn't stress about being beautiful on the outside, because that'll all go away in time, but let's enrich our beautiful inside before anything. Let us help you with the external beauty part d;) Natasha Beddingfield said it herself, "feel the rain on your skin, no one else can feel it for you...." write your story. Define who you want to be, and know that who you are is beautiful. I love you, dearly! Muahhxx<3

2012, here we come!

Right, sorry for not paying as often, but these holidays and the parties are making our schedules busy! We started this blog on 2011's December, but now in 2012 it's going to be an amazing year and a New Year's resolution for us is to post more! Stick with us and please let us know what you'd like to see, fashion tips (Amparo is the best for this), makeup (Carolina for this one!) and health and just give us questions! We'll do our best to answer them! Again, we inform you that we are six hours apart and it's hard for us to decide when to post, and well, last time we saw each other was in late July! Well, this is the last week of school for the week for many of us, so just remember to have fun with your friends and wish them a happy holidays! We're full of parties and free time now during the last few days of school for the year! I absolutely love my friends, so just remember to have fun and be safe!
